Greenwood Indiana Wedding
// Karen + Mark
Winter weddings are so underrated.There is something just a little more magical about a winter wedding- the cooler air, the threat of snow. When the sun shines, it’s a softer light, more pure.
Karen + Mark’s wedding was so incredibly thought out. Every. Little. Detail. Karen crafted an entire forests-worth of pine-cone covered trees inside the church to set as the backdrop for the ceremony. Even if the weather was freezing and no one wanted to venture outdoors for some photos, there would be a little bit of nature inside the church. That was one of my favorite parts.
For January, the weather wasn’t as frigid as it could have been. We were able to pop outside for some portraits. The cooler air was a perfect excuse to snuggle in close.
I’ve absolutely loved Karen + Mark from the movement I met up with them, back before they even officially hired me. Something about them made me feel like I’ve known them for years. That we’d always known each other. It made diving into their engagement session and later, the wedding day, something I looked forward to.
This day. These two. It doesn’t get better.
