France Park Engagement Session

I finally got to go back to one of my absolute favorite locations, France Park.
Katelyn + Patrick are from the Chicago area so I jumped at the chance to head back to France Park as sort of a midway point between Chicago + Indy for their engagement session. It was quite literally the perfect evening… sunny and not to warm nor too cold.
They brought along their adorable Pug, Nixon who was the best model. We went to all my favorite spots and it was just the best.
One of my favorite moments from this shoot (besides finally getting to meet Katelyn + Patrick after talking for months, them bringing along Nixon, and having THE best time with them for the evening) was when I was telling a story about my dogs after I had tucked Katelyn + Patrick into a patch of low hanging branches and quite literally stopped mid-story when I saw Patrick peeking out at me through the leaves and knew I had to make something “artsy” happen. I never did finish my story.
I’m SO excited for their wedding this August and I’m SO beyond thankful/grateful for clients who pick me and trust me to get weird and do my thing.
