It was prime fall. An autumn wonderland. The sun was shining and it was unseasonably warm for the time of year. Warm, but not hot. It was just the right temperature. In a week full of cold, rainy days this was the bright spot. The one day where the sun peeked out, warmed the air, and dried out the ground like some kind of wedding blessing.
