Heather + Bruce’s Rustic Backyard Wedding
The one thing you dread more than anything when you plan an outdoor wedding is rain. So of course it has to end up raining.
A couple of hours before the ceremony, the skies opened up and it down poured. Setting up for the wedding happened in between hiding out under porches and awnings until the downpour slowed to a drizzle.
Right before guests started to arrive the skies cleared up and the sun even made an appearance during the ceremony.
Heather + Bruce were troopers throughout all of this. The not so ideal weather ended up working in our favor. Close to sunset a stunning cloud filled sky became an ideal background for some of my favorite photos from the day.
