Fort Ben Late Summer Engagement
// Kaley + Cameron
There is just something magical about a late summer engagement session. Whether it’s due to the feelings of anticipation for fall mixed with a melancholy for summer to be ending or just the excitement and a little bit of a sense of sadness at something coming to an end. Of change. The days grow shorter and the sun sets earlier. The temperature drops. I don’t think I could live in a place without seasons. I like that change.
On this day though, summer remained. For one more Saturday at least.
Kaley + Cameron are some of the best types of people. Genuine and real and kind and everything in between.
We started off exploring some of my favorite spots near the water. We were there at the perfect time for beautiful golden light rays to beam through and it was stunning. Then we headed to one of my absolute favorite spots in Fort Ben, the walnut plantation. The trees were illuminated and and it was even more beautiful than usual (which is really saying something because it’s always a pretty spot.) We ended the evening at the back of the park where the grasses were nearly taller than Kaley + Cameron and the sunset was all golden and gorgeous and perfect.
It was magic.
