I love winter weddings (well technically I think this one falls into late-late fall, but close enough.) There’s just something about the lighting during this time of year that does something beautiful in photos….if you can stand the chilly air outdoors that is.
Courtney + Jared chose the Mill Top Banquet + Conference Center for their wedding. The Mill Top is a multi-level brick, timber and iron clad historic building in Noblesville. It’s such a cool space for weddings and for photos as you will see below.
Courtney and her bridesmaid began the day by getting ready in the onsite salon and finished up their makeup in the upper level bridesmaid sweet. The groom and groomsmen hung out in the basement-level man cave where they got to play pool and ping pong. In the early afternoon, Courtney + Jared had an intimate first look on the top level of the iron wrought staircase which is surrounded by windows providing some beautiful lighting. After the first look we snuck outside and took some photos against the brick exterior and a couple of beautiful places around the Mill Top. Following that was the ceremony which was intimate and heartfelt. Finally, the reception kicked off with lots of dancing, some great toasts, and a DONUT BAR!
Courtney + Jared are so full of love and laughter. I absolutely loved getting to be part of their wedding day. Some of my favorite parts of their day included Courtney’s stunning Betsey Johnson shoes, the wrought iron staircase first look, Jared helping Courtney with her dress, and the donut bar. Congrats you two, it’s been amazing working with you guys from your engagement session through your wedding!
If you want to check out their engagement session you can do so here (spoiler alert it contains two of the cutest pups around.)
