Broad Ripple + Indianapolis Engagement // Marion + Grant
Autumn.
It’s the best time of the year. Cooler air, vibrant trees, and glorious, perfect golden light.
That’s how it was at Marion + Grant’s engagement session.
We started the evening meeting up on the Monon trail in Broad Ripple where we found a really pretty bridge over the water. Then we headed downtown to the Old National Center. These two actually met nearly 3 years ago at a Eli Young Band concert there. It has history for them.
It’s also a stunning building.
We chased the lighting around the building to find perfect shadows across a mural lined wall. We also utilized some trees in the parking lot and used the rush of traffic to frame them on the corner in front of the building. It was amazing.
After that, we headed to Highland Park which hosts one of my favorite views of the Indy skyline. The sunset on this particular evening did not disappoint. We made it to the park just before the sun dipped behind the buildings giving us a few minutes of gorgeous golden sun rays to admire. As the sun sank lower toward the horizon all of Indy seemed to glow.
