Indiana State House Wedding
// Moira + Mike
Moira + Mike did their wedding their own way. They arrived at the Indiana State House dressed and ready to go. They had an intimate ceremony at the Indiana State House surrounded by close family and friends. Afterward we ventured around the State House utilizing. The inside and the outside of this space are so stunning.
The State House is a gem of a ceremony space in Indianapolis. It’s gold hued walls, giant marble pillars, architectural details, and beauty really are unparalleled. There’s so much variety. The top floor ceiling is opaque allowing some soft, filtered light to cascade down.
After we had exhausted the photos at the State House, we headed over to Mass Ave for their reception at the Libertine. There, they were surrounded by friends and family while enjoying craft cocktails. It was small, intimate and totally perfect for these two. Rounds of shots shared throughout, heartfelt toasts, cake cutting. They did their day exactly how they wanted to. Surrounded by the ones they loved most. Personalized details + touches sprinkled throughout. Nothing over the top or over done.
It’s weddings like these, where the focus really is on the bride and groom, their families and their friends. It’s about the connections between people. Moments.
